# whisper.cpp/examples/parakeet-cli

This is an example of using the [Parakeet] model in whisper.cpp.

### Download converted model
```console
$ hf download ggml-org/parakeet-GGUF parakeet-tdt-0.6b-v3-f16.bin --local-dir models
```

### Building
```console
$ cmake -B build -S .
$ cmake --build build --target parakeet-cli -j 12
```

### Usage

### Model conversion
Clone the original model from Hugging Face:

```
Convert the model:
