When deployed within GCP, this means that it can automatically use the service account attached to the resource. When deployed to GKE, ADC

can be leveraged through a feature called Workload Identity. Follow Google's <a href="https://cloud.google.com/kubernetes-engine/docs/how-to/workload-identity" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">guide</a>
