sed was replacing 'Filename: /tmp/path/' with '' (empty), stripping the 'Filename: ' label and leaving a bare path apt cannot parse. Result: apt could see packages in the index but couldn't download them. Corrected sed: s|Filename: /path/|Filename: | — keeps the label, strips only the absolute temp-dir prefix.
