Add K-Profile built its Filament dropdown from the profiles already on
the printer, so on a printer with none the field was empty, required
and unsatisfiable (#2719, reporter @jmoore-skild). The modal's own
hint described the dead end: create the profile in Bambu Studio first.
The dropdown now uses the app-wide lookup order -- local imported,
Orca Cloud, Bambu Cloud, hardcoded built-in table -- same as the AMS
slot picker and the SliceModal tier groups. The built-in table is
compiled into the backend, so the list can never be empty: a new
printer with no cloud account and nothing imported still gets a first
profile.
Not fixed the way the report suggested. Seeding from
/printers/available-filaments would have offered only what happens to
be in an AMS right now, which on the reported printer is nothing; its
tray_info_idx is empty or a cloud user preset rather than a filament
id; it aggregates across every printer of the same model; and it is
gated on QUEUE_CREATE, which the K-Profiles page does not hold.
The printer indexes its calibration table by filament_id, so the
picked preset is reduced to one before anything is sent. Built-in
entries and Bambu official cloud presets carry one; a cloud user
preset needs its detail fetched (never base_id -- that collapses a
custom preset onto its inherited generic, #1053); imported and Orca
presets have no Bambu id at all and take the closest generic for
their material, via the same table the AMS slot configure flow uses
so the two agree. A filament that resolves to nothing is refused with
a named error rather than written under a wrong id.
Collapses duplicates from two separate causes. A cloud account
carries one copy of each filament per printer model, and with the
"@BBL <model>" suffix stripped for display those rows are
indistinguishable -- deduped within each tier by resolved filament id,
by display name for user presets that have none. Cloud setting_ids
also carry a "_NN" variant suffix, so the built-in tier's
already-covered check never matched and listed the same filament
again; the bare id is now recorded alongside.
Groups the options by source with an optgroup per tier, styled in
index.css: browsers render optgroup labels small, grey and italic,
which buries the one thing distinguishing a "Bambu PLA Basic" you
imported from the one the built-in table ships.
Drops the second getKProfiles(printer, "0.4") query that existed only
to seed the old dropdown. It ran concurrently with the main fetch
whenever a non-0.4mm nozzle was selected -- the two-requests-in-flight
case that made K-profile fetches time out.
---
fix(ui): cancel a dialog's deferred close when it unmounts
The AMS slot configure and K-Profile dialogs hold a success state
briefly and then close themselves -- 1.5s to 4s after the command
goes out, so the printer has time to process it before the list
refetches. Each did that with a bare setTimeout closing over setState
and the parent's onClose, and nothing cancelled it.
The timer therefore ran whether or not the dialog was still there.
Dismissing it inside that window, or the printer card re-rendering
underneath it, left a pending close that fired later and dismissed
whatever dialog was open by then. It also threw outright when the
surrounding environment was gone first: a test tearing down its DOM
before the 1.5s elapsed produced "ReferenceError: window is not
defined" out of react-dom's resolveUpdatePriority, reported as an
unhandled error against a suite that otherwise passed.
Routes all five through a useCancellableTimeout hook -- two in
ConfigureAmsSlotModal, three in KProfileModal, the latter with the
longest windows and so the widest exposure. Scheduling replaces any
pending timer and unmounting clears it.
The reporter's A1 mini has nine Flow Dynamics calibrations, all of them saved
under Generic PLA and named after the spool's colour — "Dark Brown", "Glow",
"Marble". Bambu Studio lists all nine for that slot. Configure AMS Slot offered
one: the profile already bound to the slot. After a slot reset it offered none,
leaving the slicer as the only way to assign a K value.
Two independent faults, both tripped by picking a built-in generic preset.
The filament-id match discarded Bambu's generic GFx99 ids as too broad. But the
comparison already requires both sides to carry the same id, so that exclusion
could only ever fire when the selected preset was itself the generic one —
precisely the case where the match is right. The printer keeps one calibration
table per filament id, so a slot on Generic PLA should offer everything
calibrated under Generic PLA. Equal ids now match, generic or not.
The name fallback was dead for the same presets: parsePresetName reads the
leading "Generic" in "Generic PLA" as a manufacturer, which put the matcher into
brand-gated mode and demanded the word GENERIC appear in the profile name. No
real profile has it. "Generic" is no longer treated as a brand, so profiles still
match on material when a printer reports no filament_id with its calibrations.
The one profile that did appear came from the #1689 safety net that always
surfaces the slot's active cali_idx — which is also why a reset slot, having no
active profile, showed an empty list.
Neither fix can be complete on its own, because profile names are free text and
nothing ties "Marble" to a material. The picker now also lists every remaining
profile on the printer under "Other K profiles on this printer", so a profile
that exists can always be selected. Applying one from that group needs no new
backend work: configure_ams_slot already realigns the slot's filament context to
the chosen profile's, which is what makes the cali_idx stick.
Options are keyed by name+k_value rather than the bare name, so two profiles
sharing a name are no longer indistinguishable in the select. Both render blocks
carry the change — the modal duplicates the picker for its full-screen variant.
isMatchingCalibration gets the same generic-id rule for the spool form's PA
suggester, with two guards. A new generic-id-to-material table means a PETG spool
can never claim GFL99 profiles just because both sides stored a generic id
(Nylon and PA compare as one material). And a spool that names its own brand
keeps the stricter name path, so its suggestions stay brand-specific rather than
becoming the printer's whole generic table.
The app was built dark-first, so hundreds of hardcoded Tailwind semantic
text/icon utilities at light shades (text-amber-400, text-blue-300, ...) had
no dark: variant. With darkMode:'class' they applied in light theme too,
producing washed-out text on pale tints and white cards — including the three
reported spots (AMS Drying banner, Archives no-3MF warning, debug-logging
banner). Give each a theme-aware pair: a darker readable shade in light theme
with the original pinned to dark:, so dark theme is unchanged. ~100 files.
The bambu-* CSS-variable palette (self-correcting) and the dark-only SpoolBuddy
kiosk are left untouched. Plain text-white is already theme-aware via the
existing index.css .text-white override, so it needed no changes.
New setting "Auto-add unknown RFID spools" under Settings -> Filament -> Filament Tracking,
default ON for back-compat. When turned off, the backend stops auto-creating an inventory
record for an unknown RFID tag and instead broadcasts an unknown_tag WS event that pops
a global confirmation modal in the Bambuddy UI showing the printer / AMS-X label / slot /
material / colour. Add or Cancel; no nag on every MQTT push.
Backend
- Module-level _unknown_tag_last_broadcast dict dedupes per (printer, slot, tag). Set is
committed AFTER ws_manager.broadcast() returns so a crashed broadcast doesn't poison
the dedup and permanently silence the slot.
- Empty-slot MQTT push clears that slot's entry, so remove+reinsert reliably re-prompts.
- Successful matches via get_spool_by_tag / find_matching_untagged_spool / create_spool
also clear the entry so a future tag swap re-prompts.
- Tray data (tray_type, tray_color, tray_sub_brands, tray_count) shipped in the WS payload
directly so the modal renders the real material / colour instead of relying on the
React Query cache that lags the WS event by several seconds.
- Two new endpoints back the modal's confirm action:
POST /api/v1/inventory/spools/from-slot (INVENTORY_UPDATE)
POST /api/v1/spoolman/spools/from-slot (FILAMENTS_UPDATE)
Both look up the slot's tray data server-side and create + auto-assign atomically.
- Spoolman /from-slot now raises HTTP 500 when the slot-assignment INSERT fails instead
of returning success while the DB rolled back the binding.
- sync_ams_tray gained an optional auto_add_unknown_rfid kwarg (default True so existing
callers are unaffected); auto-sync and both manual sync routes thread the setting.
Frontend
- useUnknownTagPrompt hook listens for the unknown-tag CustomEvent, reads the tray fields
out of the event detail, and feeds a single-modal queue. No long-lived dismissed set;
the backend dedup handles spam suppression.
- UnknownSpoolModal wraps the existing ConfirmModal with a material + colour-swatch
preview block.
- Mounted in Layout.tsx alongside useSponsorPrompt so SpoolBuddy kiosk / login / setup
routes are excluded.
- getAmsLabel moved to utils/amsHelpers.ts; ConfigureAmsSlotModal.tsx and PrintersPage.tsx
both import the shared version (canonical AMS-A / HT-A / External labels).
- AppSettings TS interface gained spoolman_enabled, auto_add_unknown_rfid, spoolman_url
so the runtime cast in the hook is no longer needed.
- SpoolmanSettings.tsx gets a new toggle row in the Filament Tracking card, visible in
both built-in and Spoolman branches; auto-save + toast already wired.
The Filament Profile picker in the Configure AMS Slot modal listed
profiles for every printer the user had ever imported / cloud-synced.
On H2D the reporter saw local "Custom" PETG/PLA for A1 mini and P1S
alongside Bambu Cloud and Orca Cloud profiles named "X1C eSUN PETG-
Basic Filament" - none of them usable on the slot they were configuring.
Three filter gaps in the same picker:
- Local "Custom" imported profiles were unconditionally listed. Now
parse their compatible_printers JSON and run presetCompatibility()
against the slot's full slicer preset name ("Bambu Lab H2D 0.4
nozzle") derived from the printer-model registry + slot nozzle.
Hide on 'mismatch'; 'match' and 'unknown' keep showing (back-compat
for hand-edited imports without compatible_printers).
- Cloud presets with the "@Bambu Lab <long-name>" suffix form (user-
renamed Bambu Cloud presets, most Orca Cloud profiles) slipped
through the existing "@BBL <code>" matcher. extractPresetModel now
handles both, with case-insensitive registry reverse-lookup so
"A1 mini" vs "A1 Mini" capitalisation drift doesn't hide A1 Mini
profiles (#1649 alias match preserved).
- Cloud presets with the model in the BODY of the name and no @ suffix
("X1C eSUN PETG-Basic Filament") returned null from the extractor.
Added a body-text scan against every known model token from the
registry, long-first sort so "A1 Mini" / "X1 Carbon" / "H2D Pro"
aren't eaten by their shorter siblings, word-boundary regex so
"PA1" doesn't false-match "A1".
Fail-open posture preserved: registry not loaded or printerModel empty
no-ops every filter; saved preset bypass keeps the active selection
visible; built-in filaments stay unfiltered (generic fallback); free-
form names with no recognisable token still show.
Four #1712 issues from the 2026-06-04 Orca Cloud integration:
(1) Tier order put Orca Cloud above everything across SliceModal,
auto-pick scoring, dropdown groups, the AMS slot picker, and the
backend precedence. Bambu-Cloud-only users saw their profiles
deprioritised behind an empty Orca tier.
(2) Cross-tier dedup hid a same-named preset in all but the highest-
priority tier. A user with both a local-imported and an Orca-synced
"Bambu PLA Basic" couldn't see the Orca copy as a picker option.
(3) CloudStatusBanner nagged signed-out users with a permanent
"Sign in to Orca Cloud" line at the top of every slice -- even after
explicit logout. Bambu Cloud had the symmetric problem.
(4) ConfigureAmsSlotModal source badges were inconsistent: Orca rows
showed only "Custom" (no source identity), Bambu Cloud built-in rows
had no badge at all, and the orthogonal isUser-driven "Custom" badge
collided with the source badge for cloud user presets.
Order is local > orca_cloud > cloud > standard everywhere it lives
(SliceModal SLICE_MODAL_TIER_ORDER + TIER_BONUS + dropdown tier list,
ConfigureAmsSlotModal sourceOrder, and backend precedence). The order
drives auto-pick + visual group rendering; it does NOT hide profiles.
_dedupe_by_name replaced with _enrich_cloud_metadata: every tier
returns its full list across all three slots (printer / process /
filament). The function still backfills Bambu Cloud filament metadata
from same-named local / orca_cloud / standard entries so cloud
filaments score in pickFilamentForSlot.
CloudStatusBanner silently no-ops on not_authenticated for both clouds;
expired / unreachable still surface. The not_authenticated i18n keys
stay in the locale files dormant.
ConfigureAmsSlotModal: one source badge per row, one colour per source
(green Local / purple Orca Cloud / bambu-blue Bambu Cloud / amber
Built-in). The legacy isUser-driven "Custom" badge is gone; every row
identifies its tier consistently.
Configure Slot dropped to "default 0.020" on reopen for slots that were
physically loaded but unconfigured (tray_type="", no slot_preset_mappings
row). The #1689 cali_idx safety net was unreachable from that path —
matchingKProfiles early-returned [] on !selectedPresetInfo before the
safety net ran.
Split the early return so the cali_idx fallback survives the no-preset
case: when selectedPresetInfo is null but slotInfo.caliIdx > 0, return
the active profile as a single-item list (extruder-matched when known).
Strictly additive; caliIdx == 0/null still returns [], existing matcher
unchanged when a preset is resolvable.
Two related bugs in K-profile matching, same root cause.
#1688 — spool form's PA-profile suggester (PAProfileSection via
isMatchingCalibration in spool-form/utils.ts) matched K-profiles by
parsing the profile NAME for material/brand/variant. Spools already
store slicer_filament (the slicer preset id) and K-profiles already
carry filament_id, but both were ignored — so a user's custom
K-profile whose name doesn't agree with the slicer preset got silently
dropped from suggestions even when the underlying filament_id was
identical.
#1689 — ConfigureAmsSlotModal's matchingKProfiles ran the same
name-only logic on the slot's selected preset. A spool assigned under
"Generic PLA" with a custom K-profile actively bound on the printer
landed in the modal as "K profile not assigned, default 0.020 will
be used", while the printer-card hover-card correctly showed the
active profile. Two paths, only one was filtering by name.
Shared root: spool preset ids and K-profile filament_ids look
different but are equivalent after normalising. Spools store
slicer_filament as the cloud setting_id form ("GFSG98_09" — _09 is
the variant suffix, the S infix marks setting_id form); K-profiles
store filament_id as the bare form ("GFG98"). Plain === doesn't
work; both need normalising. This conversion already existed in the
other direction at buildFilamentOptions (filament_id → "GFS" +
filament_id.slice(2)), so the inverse toFilamentId helper is just
the matching reverse, not new ground.
Fix — one shared helper, two surfaces:
- spool-form/utils.ts: new exports toFilamentId(id) (drops "_NN"
variant suffix and strips the "S" in "GFS", so GFSG98_09 → GFG98)
and isGenericFilamentId(id) (flags Bambu's generic GFx99 ids
which are shared across many filaments and must NOT id-match —
the name fallback handles those correctly).
- isMatchingCalibration: gains slicer_filament?: string in formData,
tries id-match (with generic exclusion) before the existing name
parse. PAProfileSection already passes the full formData so no
caller edit needed. Strictly additive precedence.
- ConfigureAmsSlotModal.selectedPresetInfo: resolves a filamentId
field (toFilamentId(cp.setting_id) for cloud presets,
toFilamentId(builtinFilamentId) for builtin; empty for local /
orca paths which fall through to name match).
- ConfigureAmsSlotModal.matchingKProfiles: id-match check at the top
of the per-profile predicate (preferred when both sides agree
after normalisation), then the existing name-parse logic, then
ALWAYS unshifts the slot's currently-active K-profile by
slot_id === slotInfo.caliIdx — gated on activeIdx > 0 (so caliIdx
0/null doesn't leak unrelated profiles in), extruder-matched when
slotInfo.extruderId is known. This is Spionkiller01's #1689 patch
verbatim with the activeIdx > 0 guard added.
SpoolBuddy: both kiosk K-profile surfaces reuse the shared
components. SpoolBuddyWriteTagPage renders PAProfileSection;
SpoolBuddyAmsPage renders ConfigureAmsSlotModal. Verified — fixes
propagate automatically, no kiosk-specific edits.
What this does NOT change: spools without slicer_filament, K-profiles
without filament_id, and generic GFx99 ids all fall through to the
existing name-based matching path. Strictly additive precedence; no
input shape that matched under the old logic fails to match under the
new. The #1053 cloud-preset PFUS* path is preserved because the
toFilamentId regex /^GFS/ doesn't match a "PFU" prefix.
Reporter on an A1 Mini saw the AMS slot Configure dropdown render no
Bambu / Generic filament profiles, and saw the Profiles tab strip
A1 Mini results when filtering by that model. Bambu rolled out a
profile rename mid-2026: the @BBL <code> suffix on 106 cloud profiles
shifted from the long display form to a terse model code -- e.g.
"Bambu PLA Basic @BBL A1 Mini ..." is now
"Bambu PLA Basic @BBL A1M ...". User-authored profiles still use the
long form. Bambuddy's filters did a verbatim uppercase compare
("A1M" vs "A1 MINI"), so every renamed cloud profile silently
disappeared from the picker.
Centralize the alias check in slicerPrinterMatch.ts. New
PRINTER_MODEL_SUFFIX_ALIASES table maps "A1 Mini" <-> "A1M"
bidirectionally; exported matchesPrinterModelSuffix() does the
case-insensitive compare with the alias fallback. Two consumer
sites swap to the helper:
* ConfigureAmsSlotModal.tsx (Orca cloud and Bambu cloud filter
branches) -- the AMS slot picker, hit directly and reached from
SpoolBuddy's AMS page via mapModelCode(printer?.model)
* slicerPrinterMatch.ts:classifyByBambuName -- the SliceModal
Process / Filament compatibility check
Backend printer_models.py also gets a "Bambu Lab A1M" -> "A1 Mini"
entry so server-side 3MF model normalization stays consistent if a
3MF ever embeds the short form.
Kept the alias table narrow on purpose. Wide-net aliasing (e.g.
"X1" <-> "X1C") would silently collapse physically distinct
printers. When Bambu introduces the next rename, it is one new row
in the table -- /api/v1/cloud/settings is the place to grep, called
out in the source comment.
Long preset names like "SUNLU PETG GLOW IN THE DARK GEN2 @Bambu Lab
H2C 0.4 nozzle" were visually clipped in the Configure AMS Slot
modal's preset picker. With several near-identical entries differing
only in nozzle size, users had to open browser dev tools to tell
them apart.
A `title={preset.name}` alone was too slow visually — browsers wait
500-1000ms before rendering native tooltips. The row now un-truncates
inline on hover via group-hover:whitespace-normal + break-all, so the
full name appears the moment the cursor enters the row. `truncate`
stays as the default to keep the list compact when scanning.
The native `title={preset.name}` is also kept as a belt-and-braces
fallback for assistive tech and touch devices where :hover doesn't
fire. Both desktop and mobile layouts updated.
Test: new ConfigureAmsSlotModal.test.tsx regression that pins the
truncate / group-hover:whitespace-normal / group-hover:break-all
classes on the span, the title attribute, and the `group` class on
the parent button — so a future refactor that drops any of those
fails CI.
Bambu Cloud returns filament_id=null for user presets that only override
fields of a generic base (e.g. "Sting3D ABS" inheriting from
"Generic ABS @BBL H2D"). ConfigureAmsSlotModal fell back to
convertToTrayInfoIdx(base_id), which strips "S" and the version suffix
from "GFSB99_07" to "GFB99" — Generic ABS's filament_id. The printer
accepted and echoed back GFB99, so OrcaSlicer / BambuStudio Sync
Filaments resolved the slot to "Generic ABS" and the custom preset
never appeared on the printer LCD.
The preceding default already set tray_info_idx to the PFUS*/PFSP*
setting_id unchanged, and the rest of the stack round-trips that
format (configure_ams_slot, inventory Assign Spool, and print
scheduler slot-matching on P* short-form IDs). The base_id branch
overwrote the correct default.
Remove the base_id fallback. When cloud detail returns a distinct
filament_id we still prefer it; otherwise the setting_id default
stands. BambuStudio Sync now resolves the custom preset cleanly.
OrcaSlicer falls back to the inherited generic because OrcaSlicer
user-preset JSONs don't carry a filament_id field — that is an
OrcaSlicer limitation and behaviour is strictly not worse than before.
Regression tests (frontend):
- filament_id=null keeps PFUS* as tray_info_idx
- concrete filament_id wins over the default
- GFS* path skips the cloud-detail fetch entirely
- fetch failure degrades gracefully to the PFUS* default
Regression tests (backend):
- test_configure_pfus_preserves_setting_id_pair: HT slot endpoint
forwards both tray_info_idx=PFUS… and setting_id=PFUS… untouched
Thanks to @mrnoisytiger for the browser-console / network / backend-log
data that isolated the fallback path and the OrcaSlicer preset JSON
that showed the missing filament_id field.
The saved preset bypassed the search filter entirely, so when a slot's
DB mapping was stale (e.g. previously Matte, now physically Silk), the
old preset always appeared regardless of search query. Remove the search
bypass — saved/current presets still bypass the printer model filter but
must match the search text like all other presets.
When searching for a non-existent profile in the AMS slot config modal,
presets matching the current slot's tray_info_idx bypassed the search
filter, showing e.g. all "Generic PLA" variants instead of no results.
Narrow the search bypass to only the exact saved preset — the broader
trayIdx match still bypasses the model filter as intended.
Changed filament color circle borders from border-white/20 to
border-black/20 across all views so white spools are distinguishable
against light backgrounds.
The compatible_printers filter on local presets parsed the stored JSON
array (e.g. '["BBL X1C 0.4 nozzle"]') as a semicolon-delimited string,
so matching always failed and every local preset was silently skipped.
Removed the filter entirely — user-imported profiles should be usable
on any printer.
* Fix AMS slot modal not scrolling to preselected filament
The scroll useEffect fired before the loading spinner was replaced
by the preset list, so the DOM element didn't exist yet. The ref
guard was then set, preventing any retry once buttons appeared.
- Move isLoading computation before the scroll effect and add it
as a dependency so the effect re-runs when loading completes
- Gate scroll on !isLoading so it only runs when buttons exist
- Only mark scrolledToRef after the element is actually found
- Use requestAnimationFrame to scroll after browser layout
- Use block:'center' so the selected item is clearly visible
Preselect filament for printer-configured AMS slots
When an AMS slot was configured directly on the printer (no
savedPresetId), the modal didn't preselect the filament even though
it was in the list. Add a third fallback that matches trayInfoIdx
against the full filteredPresets list (cloud and builtin sources).
* Restore scrolledToRef lost during merge
The useRef import, scrolledToRef declaration, and its reset were
dropped during the 0.2.2b1 merge, causing a ReferenceError in the
scroll-to-preselected-filament effect.
* Fix preset scroll loop and wire up useEffect scroll logic
- Remove inline ref callbacks with scrollIntoView on both preset
button lists (fullscreen + standard) to stop the infinite scroll
loop on Windows
- Add data-preset-id attribute so the existing useEffect/querySelector
scroll logic can actually find the elements
- Replace filteredPresets dependency with builtinFilaments in the
selection useEffect to prevent search keystrokes from overriding
manual preset selection
* Adjust scroll behavior in ConfigureAmsSlotModal

Profiles like "PLA Support for PETG PETG Basic @Bambu Lab H2D" have
filament_type PETG, but both the frontend and backend name parsers
found "PLA" first (iterating material types in order). The MQTT command
sent tray_type=PLA and tray_info_idx=GFL99 (PLA generic), so the
slicer displayed PLA instead of PETG.
- Frontend parsePresetName(): detect "X Support for Y" pattern, extract
material after "Support for"
- Frontend ConfigureAmsSlotModal: prefer corrected parsed material over
stored localPreset.filament_type for tray_type, tray_info_idx, and
temperature fallback
- Backend _parse_material_from_name(): same "Support for" handling for
future profile imports
- Backend assign_spool: prioritize spool.material over lp.filament_type
for generic filament ID lookup
Inline callback refs on preset buttons called scrollIntoView on every
re-render, creating a scroll → re-render → scrollIntoView loop on
Windows. Replace with a useEffect + data attribute approach that only
scrolls when the selected preset actually changes.
The assign_spool endpoint sent wrong MQTT field values for user presets,
causing the slicer's AMS slot detail card to show all fields empty.
Two bugs: (1) cloud API was called with the raw slicer_filament value
including its version suffix (e.g. PFUS9ac902733670a9_07), returning 404;
the silent fallback sent setting_id as tray_info_idx instead of the real
filament_id; (2) no SlotPresetMapping was saved after assignment.
Now strips version suffixes before cloud lookup, resolves the real
filament_id via cloud API (with local preset and generic fallbacks),
includes brand in tray_sub_brands, and saves slot preset mapping.
Enlarge all interactive elements across 9 SpoolBuddy components to meet
44px minimum tap targets on the RPi touchscreen. Increase nav icons
(20→24px), labels (10→12px), bar heights, section headers, printer
buttons, spool visualizations, fill bars, and status indicators.
Compact the dashboard stats bar and remove the printers card. Add
fullScreen prop to ConfigureAmsSlotModal with two-column layout
(filament list left, K-profile + color right) to eliminate scrolling.
BambuStudio actively resets AMS slots configured with unrecognized PFUS*
(user-local) preset IDs. Replace PFUS* with generic Bambu filament IDs
(e.g. GFL99 for PLA) in both the slot configure and inventory assignment
endpoints. When the slot already has a recognized cloud-synced preset for
the same material, reuse it to preserve K-profile calibration.
Also fix fill level bar not showing for brand new spools (weight_used=0)
by changing the condition from weight_used > 0 to weight_used != null.
The color pre-population logic skipped hex 000000 (black) to guard
against empty/uninitialized slots, but empty slots already don't pass
trayColor to the modal. Removed the unnecessary check so black filament
color is now pre-populated like any other color.
